HHBS Friends,
The entire Helping Hands Bring Sunshine (HHBS) team would like to thank you very much for your support and generosity. Our second annual fundraiser held on June 12th 2010 at the Woolworth Tower Kitchen was a huge “success”.
As you already know, more than 500 schools have been destroyed by the earthquake of Jan 12th 2010. HHBS has partnered with the Cooperative Housing Foundation (CHF International) and Cimenterie National (CINA) to build an elementary school in Cabaret, Haiti. This school project is the first phase in our community development initiative. We are deeply committed to working alongside other organizations and the local community to support important restoration initiatives in the areas in need. Imagine the smile on the children faces as they walk to class on their first day of school… Picture the smile on the parents faces as they are dropping off their children on their first day of school…
Your contribution just meant that we are one step closer in achieving these goals.
With your continuous support, we will continue our mission and make a difference in the lives of the people in need of Haiti.
HHBS is still accepting monetary donations. Please visit our website at www.helpinghandsbringsunshine.org. HHBS is a 501c3 Public Charity, all donations are tax deductible.
Again, thank you,
Cordially,
HHBS Team
Prior to the earthquake that devastated Haiti, HHBS agreed to partner with Cooperative Housing Foundation (CHF International) and Cimenterie National Sem (CINA) on building an elementary school in Cabaret, Haiti. We are pleased to announce that this partnership will continue and has been escalated due to the damage done in Cabaret by the January earthquake.
At completion the school will hold 100 students and offer free lunch to all students.
This project will be the first of many in our re-building Haiti initiative.
