2026 Updates
Hi HHBS Friends and Family,
It’s been a little while since we checked in with you all. We hope this message finds you well.
As many of you have seen in the news, Haiti has been experiencing an incredibly difficult and uncertain time. The political unrest has affected the entire country, and we know that many of you have been wondering how our HHBS community is doing and whether we are still able to continue our work.
The answer is yes. We continue standing true to our mission and commitment we made since 2009!
Our amazing team on the ground in Croix de Bouquets continues to show up every day, doing everything they can to keep our school and HHBS operations going for the children, families, and community who depend on us.
We recently spoke with Evens Paul, our Director of Logistics in Haiti, and he shared this with us:

Seeing our team continuing this work, even during such challenging circumstances, is a powerful reminder of what HHBS has always been about: hand-to-hand distribution, people helping people, neighbors caring for neighbors, and a community coming together when it matters most.
We are incredibly grateful to our team in Haiti. Their dedication, courage, and commitment mean so much to all of us. We truly could not do this without them.

We’re also very happy to share that we are planning our next HHBS fundraiser! It’s been far too long, and we can’t wait to come together again with so many of the wonderful people who have supported HHBS over the years.

We’ll share more details about the fundraiser in the new year, so keep an eye on your inbox and mark those calendars. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
