HHBS Updates ☀ June 2022
Helping Hands Bring Sunshine (HHBS) would like to thank you for your generous donations over the past 13 years. It has not been easy, however we continue to stay true to our mission of bringing hope to the students of the school in Croix Des Bouquets which HHBS has been sponsoring since 2011. Despite the unstable political unrest in Haiti, the focus of HHBS remained consistent by:
Shipping barrels of clothes, shoes, food, toiletries, and hygienic products every 3 months
Distributing food kits to parents and teachers of the school
Subsidizing teachers' salary on a monthly basis
Organizing events/outings to celebrate the efforts and commitment of teachers
Celebrating students by selecting and gifting student of the month with the following (i.e backpack, T-shirts, school supplies, soccer ball).
Thank you for making it all happen for so many years.
2022 Updates
Our very own Mr. Evens Paul, HHBS Haiti coordinator, graduated from EDSEG (École de Droit et des Sciences Économiques des Gonaïves) - School of Law and Economic Sciences of Gonaives with a degree in Legal Science; duration: 4 years. HHBS is making a difference through education, one mind at a time!
